The cross changes everything.
I wanted to come up with a name that meant something instead of something flashy. Essentially, the name for me means without the brutality that Jesus suffered at the hands of his executioners, his subsequent death, and his glorious resurrection (not to mention his ascension to follow)—we’d be toast. Without Jesus Christ we have nothing but vain religion and empty hope. Martin Luther, the 16th century German monk turned church reformer, said, “There is not a word in the Bible which is extra cruem, which can be understood without reference to the cross.”
All of life is transformed by the cross of Christ, and this blog is written with that in mind.
